Every Beautiful Interior Deserves Better Photography
Months—or years—are spent designing a space. Materials are selected carefully. Natural light is studied. Furniture is curated. Textures are layered. Yet many completed projects are remembered only through rushed mobile phone photographs. Professional interior photography preserves the design exactly as it was intended.

with Exquisite Photographs and Video
Grey Frames is a Delhi-based Photography Studio specialising in producing evocative images for architectural, residential and commercial interiors. Our clients include architects, interior designers, developers, and brands in the National Capital Region and beyond.
Our approach is characterised by meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire process, from framing the shot to carefully retouching any blemishes or imperfections. We strive to create visually impactful images that rely on bright whites and graphic composition while using soft, natural light whenever possible.
Throughout production, we take a collaborative approach to image-making, valuing the exchange of ideas between photographer and client as an essential element of any successful architectural or interior shoot. The result is a narrative focus of precise natural imagery that tells a story - capturing the environments but also how we live and work within them. Documenting the project through photos or video could be an emotional closure to a lengthy process and generally means the creator will be in touch with his/her work for the last time.
Since some of these projects may never be open to the public, the photographs become the representative of the space. In other cases, the pictures are designed to entice visitors, market the project, or advertise a product. Each task is distinct, and we dedicate ourselves to hearing out the client and comprehending what the photos ought to convey.

FAQs
-
The cost of interior photography depends on the scale of the project, the number of spaces to be photographed, styling requirements, travel, production complexity, and the intended use of the images. Residential homes, commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and architectural projects all require different levels of planning and production. We provide customised quotations based on the scope of work and deliverables required.
-
A professional interior photography assignment typically includes pre-shoot consultation, photography planning, image creation on location, image selection, colour correction, perspective correction, retouching, and final delivery of high-resolution photographs suitable for print, editorial, websites, social media, and marketing collateral.
-
The duration of an interior photoshoot or an Architectural photoshoot largely depends on the number of final images required to fully capture the project. Typically, a full-day photoshoot yields 12-15 final amazing images. For larger projects, multiple site visits may be necessary to shoot all design elements and significant features. Most residential projects can be photographed within a day, while larger residences, hospitality projects, offices, retail environments, and architectural developments may require multiple shooting days. Factors such as property size, available natural light, styling requirements, and weather conditions can influence the schedule.
-
Even under ideal conditions, editing significantly enhances the outcome. Often, as much or more time and effort is dedicated to post-production as to capturing the images to achieve the desired results. Our standard rates cover initial post-production and a follow-up editing round after proofs are delivered.
-
The number of final images depends on the size and complexity of the project. A residential apartment may require 15–25 final images, while larger residences, hotels, commercial developments, and architectural projects may require substantially more. Final image counts are determined during project planning.
-
Yes. We photograph luxury residences, apartments, villas, offices, corporate headquarters, retail environments, hospitality spaces, restaurants, hotels, resorts, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and mixed-use developments across India.
-
Photoshoots are generally scheduled weeks in advance. To secure a date, a signed proposal and deposit are necessary, ensuring that no other projects are booked during that time. Prior to the photoshoot, it is advisable to arrange a site visit and share actual images of site, construction drawings, renderings, and other relevant materials. This preparation helps us become more familiar with the project and allows us to create a detailed plan to effectively capture the key features of the space within the available timeframe. For more info on planning an Architecture or Interior Photoshoot, kindly take a look at our guide to hiring an interior/architectural photographer: what to consider?

-
For the best results, construction and installation work should be complete before photography begins. Furniture placement, artwork, accessories, soft furnishings, landscaping, and cleaning should be finalised. We provide clients with a detailed pre-shoot preparation checklist before every assignment.
-
Yes. We work closely with architects, interior designers, stylists, and project teams to refine spaces before photography. Small adjustments to furniture placement, decorative elements, and visual balance often have a significant impact on the final imagery.
-
Weather plays an important role in both interior and architectural photography. If weather conditions significantly affect the quality of the imagery, schedules can be adjusted where necessary to achieve the best possible results. Exterior photography is particularly dependent on seasonal and lighting conditions.
-
Turnaround times vary depending on project size and deliverables. Most projects are delivered within a few days to a few weeks following image selection. Timelines are discussed and agreed upon during project planning.
-
Post-production typically includes colour correction, tonal balancing, perspective correction, exposure blending where required, removal of minor distractions, image optimisation, and preparation for digital, editorial, and print use.
-
Yes. Our images are frequently created for editorial features, design publications, books, architectural awards, websites, press releases, and marketing campaigns. Images can be supplied according to publication specifications where required.

Interior Architectural Photographer | While our buddies were knee-deep in blueprints and models at the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, we were busy snapping pics of their hard work. Fast forward 10 years, and our Delhi-based photo squad, Grey Frames, has gone from "Hey, this model looks cool!" to "Wow, this entire building looks even cooler!" We've been clicking away at buildings and interiors ever since.
Interior Architectural Photographer New Delhi | At Grey Frames, we went from gawking at stunning architecture to capturing it on camera, now being celebrated as top-tier Delhi Architectural Photographers. Our squad boasts alumni from design powerhouses like The Bartlett School of Architecture and the Manchester School of Architecture. We started as assistants to India's photography legends, roamed across the country snapping pictures, and even moonlight as photography teachers at schools, colleges, and universities. Basically, if it involves a camera and cool buildings, we’re all over it!
Interior Photographers New Delhi | At Grey Frames, we've mastered the art of photographing everything from towering skyscrapers to tiny trinkets. Now, we focus on architecture and interior photography, but we're just as comfortable photographing furniture, 2-D & 3-D artwork, and environmental portraits. If it stands still long enough, we'll photograph it!
Interior Architectural Photographers New Delhi | Although we're based in New Delhi, the Grey Frames team is also among the top architectural photographers in Mumbai. We regularly travel across India to cities like Bangalore, Kolkata, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Goa.
