Preparing the Space
Before the shoot, we review lighting conditions, styling, access and scheduling to ensure every space is photographed at its best. We also advise on any final preparations that can enhance the finished images.
Photography & Editing
Each space is photographed with careful attention to composition, natural light, materials and architectural detail. Selected images are then professionally edited to achieve accurate colour, balanced lighting and a refined, publication-ready finish.

Grey Frames is a Delhi-based Photography Studio specialising in producing evocative images for architectural, residential and commercial interiors. Our clients include architects, interior designers, developers, and brands in the National Capital Region and beyond.
Our approach is characterised by meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire process, from framing the shot to carefully retouching any blemishes or imperfections. We strive to create visually impactful images that rely on bright whites and graphic composition while using soft, natural light whenever possible.
Throughout production, we take a collaborative approach to image-making, valuing the exchange of ideas between photographer and client as an essential element of any successful architectural or interior shoot. Documenting the project through photos or video could be an emotional closure to a lengthy process and generally means the creator will be in touch with his/her work for the last time.

The duration of an interior photoshoot or an Architectural photoshoot largely depends on the number of final images required to fully capture the project. Typically, a full-day photoshoot yields 12-15 final amazing images. For larger projects, multiple site visits may be necessary to shoot all design elements and significant features. Most residential projects can be photographed within a day, while larger residences, hospitality projects, offices, retail environments, and architectural developments may require multiple shooting days. Factors such as property size, available natural light, styling requirements, and weather conditions can influence the schedule.

Even under ideal conditions, editing significantly enhances the outcome. Often, as much or more time and effort is dedicated to post-production as to capturing the images to achieve the desired results. Our standard rates cover initial post-production and a follow-up editing round after proofs are delivered.

A residential apartment may require 15–25 final images, while larger residences, hotels, commercial developments, and architectural projects may require substantially more. Final image counts are determined during project planning.

Photoshoots are generally scheduled weeks in advance. To secure a date, a signed proposal and deposit are necessary, ensuring that no other projects are booked during that time. This preparation helps us become more familiar with the project and allows us to create a detailed plan to effectively capture the key features of the space within the available timeframe. Interior Architectural Photographer | While our buddies were knee-deep in blueprints and models at the School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi, we were busy snapping pics of their hard work. It’s a project we’re incredibly proud of—turning history into a visual journey one building at a time!
Currently, Grey Frames is working on an exciting commission to produce architectural photographs of structures designed by the legendary Le Corbusier (1887-1965). The publication is set to be released in the spring of next year, and we’re thrilled to capture the genius of one of modern architecture’s most influential figures.
